In July, delegation of the Center for Digital Medicine and Robotics of the Jagiellonian University CM, composed of dr Klaudia Proniewska and dr Peter van Dam flew to Italy to present the latest solutions for advanced medical imaging that have been developed at the Polish university and taught as part of the project „Mixed Reality supporting Advanced Medical Education – New method of teaching medical skills” (MRAME).
The CMCiR CM team had the opportunity to share their knowledge in two Italian hospitals.
On 11/07/2023, during a visit to IRCCS Policlinico San Donato, specialists there - Dr. Emanuela Teresina Locati and Prof. Carlo Pappone - tested the holographic software and Hololens glasses used in the project. And two days later, Prof. Gianluca Campo and Dr. Antonella Scala with their team at Ospedale Sant'anna Ferrara had such an opportunity.
Trips such as this one provide an excellent opportunity to share experiences and establish international cooperation that contribute to the further development of medical science.
