In mid-January, a delegation from the CM Center for Digital Medicine and Robotics, consisting of Prof. Dariusz Dudek, MD (director of the CMCiR CM), Klaudia Proniewska, MD (deputy director of the CMCiR CM and Department of Bioinformatics and Telemedicine, Jagiellonian University CM) and Julianna Dabrowa (chairwoman of the SKN of Digital Medicine and Robotics) held a seminar meeting at Sapienza Universita di Roma. The representative of the Roman side was Prof. Emanuele Barbato - president of the European Association for Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions.
The CMCiR CM team presented solutions developed in the field of advanced medical imaging, medical data processing and the latest educational solutions introduced at the Jagiellonian University CM under the project "Mixed Reality supporting Advanced Medical Education - New method of teaching medical skills" (MRAME). The manager of this project implemented under the Erasmus+ program is Klaudia Proniewska, MD.
The meeting will result in an interdisciplinary collaboration with Sapienza Univerista di Roma on medical education and training models for students, clinicians and surgical operators. The goal is to increase efficiency, reduce time and optimize the solutions developed so far.
